Course Overview

This course provides an overview of strategies for delivery of better customer service and dealing with difficult customers. It is designed to help water and wastewater professionals deal with all types of customers to ensure a positive resolution. An emphasis on understanding and finding quick and efficient solutions to the most common water and wastewater customer complaints will be addressed. 

Cross connections are a leading threat to water quality in the distribution system. Students will learn how inflow and infiltration can be directly attributed to the activities of their customers. It includes specialized tips for field personnel.
