This four-day course prepares participants to write and pass the Wastewater Collection 1 and 2 operator exams administered by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment.

Course Overview

Topics covered include:

Understanding the acts and regulations as they relate to the operation and maintenance of a wastewater collection system, including construction site safety components, traffic safety and confined space;
Stages and functions of a wastewater collection system, including surveying, basic inspection, pump station components, maintenance methods and associated equipment.
