Where practical, the course will include a demonstration of valves and ancillary equipment. The course will give participants an understanding of:

  • classification of valves;
  • on/off and flow control valves; 
  • special purpose valves;
  • valve actuators;
  • valve operation and maintenance;
  • common problems; and 
  • troubleshooting
