The course will give participants an understanding of:

  • types of chlorine used for disinfection, 
  • how disinfection works, 
  • break-point chlorination, 
  • chlorine residual testing, 
  • watermain disinfection, 
  • continuous feed and slug methods,
  • disposal of chlorinated waste.
